Your preferences influence your communication style and at the same time  this article on the five most common communication mistakes will help you think about pitfalls that might make it hard for you to work well with your boss. Choose one or two areas in which you will improve your communication with your boss over the next month.

Spend 20% of your time learning from others

These questions will help you to clarify your manager’s expectations and provide you with a better understanding of your manager’s communication preferences.
